    Pressure gauges are instruments that measure and indicate pressures higher than ambient pressure, and are widely used in almost all industrial processes and scientific research fields. It can be seen everywhere in fields such as thermal pipelines, oil and gas transmission, water and gas supply systems, vehicle maintenance and repair shops, etc.

Working principle

Pressure gauge refers to an instrument that uses elastic elements as sensitive components to measure and indicate pressures higher than ambient pressure. It is widely used in almost all industrial processes and scientific research fields. It can be seen everywhere in fields such as thermal pipelines, oil and gas transmission, water and gas supply systems, vehicle maintenance and repair shops, etc. Especially in industrial process control and technical measurement processes, the elastic sensitive components of mechanical pressure gauges have high mechanical strength and convenient production characteristics, making them increasingly widely used.

The pressure gauge displays pressure by the elastic deformation of sensitive components (Bourdon tube, bellows, bellows) inside the gauge, which is then transmitted to the pointer by the conversion mechanism of the movement inside the gauge, causing the pointer to rotate.


Main structure:

Overflow hole: In the event of an emergency situation where a Bourdon tube bursts, internal pressure will be released to the outside through the overflow hole to prevent the glass panel from bursting. Note: In order to maintain the normal performance of the overflow hole, a space of at least 10mm should be left behind the table, and the overflow hole cannot be modified or plugged.

Pointer: In addition to standard pointers, other pointers are also optional.

Glass panel: In addition to standard glass, other special materials such as reinforced glass and non reflective glass are also optional.

Performance classification: Ordinary type (standard), Steam ordinary type (M), Heat resistant type (H), Vibration resistant type (V), Steam vibration resistant type (MV), Heat resistant and Vibration resistant type (HV).

Treatment method: Oil/water prohibition treatment is used to remove residual water or oil in the liquid contact area during manufacturing.

Exterior specification: The color of the shell should be specially specified in addition to the standard color.

Throttle valve (optional): To reduce pulsating pressure, the throttle valve is installed at the pressure inlet.


Product Features

General pressure gauges, vacuum pressure gauges, shock resistant pressure gauges, stainless steel pressure gauges, etc. are all local indication type pressure gauges, which have no other control functions except for indicating pressure.

The output signals of the electrified signal controlled pressure gauge mainly include:

1. Switch signal (such as electric contact pressure gauge)

2. Resistance signal (such as resistance remote pressure gauge)

3. Current signals (such as inductive pressure transmitters, remote pressure gauges, pressure transmitters, etc.)


Pressure gauges can be divided into:

1. General pressure gauge: General pressure gauges are used to measure the pressure of liquids, gases, or vapors that are non explosive, non crystalline, non solidifying, and have no corrosive effect on copper and copper alloys;

2. Corrosion resistant pressure gauge: Corrosion resistant pressure gauges are used to measure the pressure of corrosive media, and commonly used ones include stainless steel pressure gauges, diaphragm pressure gauges, etc;

3. Explosion proof pressure gauge: Explosion proof pressure gauges are used in hazardous areas with explosive mixtures, such as explosion-proof electrical contact pressure gauges, explosion-proof transmitters, etc.

4. Specialized pressure gauge.

According to the purpose of the pressure gauge, it can be divided into ordinary pressure gauge, ammonia pressure gauge, oxygen pressure gauge, electric contact pressure gauge, remote transmission pressure gauge, vibration resistant pressure gauge, pressure gauge with inspection pointer, double needle double tube or double needle single tube pressure gauge, digital display pressure gauge, digital precision pressure gauge, etc.
