  • Product Introduction
Total phosphorus refers to the total amount of particles and dissolved organic and inorganic phosphorus in a water body, reflecting the degree of phosphorus pollution in the water. An increase in phosphorus content in water can cause eutrophication, leading to the occurrence of algal blooms or red tides, seriously affecting water quality.

Working principle

The mixture of water sample, catalyst solution, and strong oxidant digestion solution is heated to 120 ℃. Polyphosphate and other phosphorus containing compounds in the water sample are digested and oxidized by the strong oxidant under acidic conditions of high temperature and high pressure to generate phosphate ions. In the presence of the catalyst, phosphate ions form a colored complex in a strong acid solution containing molybdate. The analyzer detects the color change and converts it into total phosphorus value output. The amount of colored complex generated is equivalent to the total phosphorus content.

Product Features

1. The digestion colorimetric process of the instrument is completed in one, with a simple and reliable structure, reducing the possibility of errors.

2. Adopting imported modified polytetrafluoroethylene transparent hose with a diameter greater than 1.5mm, reducing the probability of particle blockage in water samples.

3. It can automatically clean the sampling pipeline to prevent the formation of algae or biofilm.

4. After abnormal reset and power failure, the instrument will automatically discharge residual reactants and restore working status.

5. Low failure rate, minimal maintenance, and low reagent consumption.

6. The intelligent fault self diagnosis function, alarm prompt, instrument management and maintenance are very convenient.

7. Adopting multi-channel valves, it has strong anti-corrosion performance, long service life, and is safe and reliable.
