Working principle

LZZ metal tube float flowmeter is a variable area flow meter based on float position measurement. Due to its small size, low pressure loss, large range ratio (10:1), and easy installation and maintenance, it is widely used in various industries for flow measurement and process control in complex and harsh environments with small flow rates, low flow rates, and various harsh medium conditions.

Signal transmitter - indicator;

Sensor - measuring tube and float;

There are four types of liquid contact materials for sensors: stainless steel, Hastelloy, titanium, and stainless steel lined with PTFE; Users can choose different liquid contact materials according to different process pressures and corrosive requirements of the medium to meet the pressure resistance and medium anti-corrosion needs of the process. According to different measurement requirements, users can choose different indicator combinations when selecting to achieve different measurement requirements. The specific indicator form and its corresponding function can be found in the indicator type spectrogram.

The measurement of flow is completed by the transmitter inside the indicator, which couples the magnetic steel to sense the change in float position to indicate the flow and transmit the signal remotely. When the measured medium flows through the measuring tube from bottom to top, the float is balanced by the vertical upward pushing force of gravity, buoyancy, and fluid flow velocity. The float is relatively stationary at a certain position, which varies with the ring area of the float and the cone tube, as well as the fluid flow velocity. The position of the float corresponds to the flow rate of the measured medium.
