  • Product Introduction
Nitrous nitrogen (NO) refers to the nitrogen content in soluble and suspended particles in water, including nitrite nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen, inorganic ammonium salts, dissolved ammonia, and nitrogen in most organic nitrogen-containing compounds.

Working principle

Quantitatively determine nitrate by utilizing the absorption of nitrate ions at a wavelength of 220nm. Dissolved organic matter also absorbs at 220nm, while nitrate ions do not absorb at 275nm. Therefore, another measurement was taken at 275nm, and the corrected absorbance A was calculated based on the formula A=A220-2A275. To calibrate nitrate nitrogen values.
